Getting it out.
First step: Finding the right song. Broken social scene; Her Disappearing Theme.
Second step: Let it surface, break it down, bullet it.
Third step: Beg it to stay there.
- I have lost a lot since June. Some things I miss placed and others were taken from me, I miss them all.
- Replacements and distractions frustrate me.
- The hurt seems to cluster together, huddle, make a game plan then break and take over despite my instructions.
- I have always been there...
- Fiddling with broken appliances wont satisfy my nerves like it does yours.
- First item on my agenda: cut off the water supply to my eyes.
- I have always been there...
- I feel like a child weeping, pleading "but you promised". And you did.
- And I am here. And I miss it all. And you do too. And it all seems a bit unnecessary.
- Why aren't you here...?
- Thats not what its all about I want to stay. Its not all a matter of business. It can be calm, it can be beautiful, but it will never be easy although we could make it so its always worth it.
- Money talks you said. But so do I and if you let me I can talk louder.
- I can't buy you groceries but I will be there after all the tomatoes and peaches are eaten.
- I see you following him, running away. And I'm not joining in the race because you said not to.
- Although in this scene some things seem to be lost and others broken, there is one thing I'm not yet willing to give up to June's disappearing theme.
